HONDA Racing F1 Team Meet with Blue Click PR’s Client
21st November 2008
Swindon, United Kingdom – Bill Fenna is an inventor from Bath, United Kingdom, with a revolutionary new vehicle braking system covered by worldwide patents. He approached Blue Click PR Ltd for their assistance in setting up a meeting with HONDA to discuss the prototype, its benefits and potential cost-savings for the car manufacturer. Bill had tried unsuccessfully for a full year to set up a meeting with Ross Brawn. Within two hours of beginning to work for Bill Fenna, Blue Click PR’s Managing Director had gone through a network contact and made contact with engineers on the HONDA Racing F1 team. She converted this lead and secured a meeting onsite at their headquarters in Brackley, Northants on 21st November.
Bill Fenna was delighted that Rhona opened the door for him to present his radical braking system. He was even more amazed at the speed with which business networking generated such a high-calibre invitation.
To set up the meeting, Rhona applied a method she used previously to gain interest, and create desire from Homebase to sponsor a garden designer client called Phillip Osman for £75,000. Thanks to Blue Click PR, he went on to design a garden with them that produced a silver medal at Hampton Court in 2006.
According to Rhona ‘Thomas Power from Ecademy says it’s all about the people you know and belief in the ‘six degrees of separation’ rule. Roger Hamilton says a person’s wealth is in their network and I would say I owe my repeated success in delivering meetings of this nature to the training I have received especially from NRG’s Dave Clarke, Ecademy and the constant encouragement and support from client and friend, Bob Hayward from OPC UK and Timepower. -ends-
