K International Launches Telephone Interpreting Service 5th February 2004


5th February 2004, Milton Keynes United Kingdom - K International, the multilingual solutions company, has launched a versatile new service - Telephone Interpreting (www.telephone-interpreting.com). This enables people who speak different languages to converse on the phone, by connecting them with a professional interpreter in a three-way conference call.

The new service has been developed to meet the demands of clients in the corporate and government sectors. For instance, it is ideal for multi-national businesses or companies with clients in different countries. For businesses with a call centre, K International can arrange instant or regular access to a telephone interpreter.

The new service will also be invaluable to government bodies such as Social Services, Job Centres and the National Asylum Support Service, as it will enable them to communicate with people whose grasp of English is poor. Similarly, it will enable local government bodies (such as Housing Associations) and emergency services to convey important messages to people of different nationalities.

K International can arrange a suitable interpreter in less than a minute from its database of over 2,800 highly skilled linguists, who work in over 150 languages. Many of them have specialist knowledge of particular areas of industry, commerce or government. The new service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

There is no booking fee for the service, which is charged on a ‘per minute’ basis. All conversations are kept strictly confidential, with the interpreter remaining neutral throughout.
