Boomerang Brings TV's Balamory Photos Back to Life

It's a pretty significant moment when a four year old meets their favourite TV character and 'make-believe' becomes reality. It's every parent's dream to capture the moment on camera - so imagine getting that far but then losing these irreplaceable pictures.

This disaster happened to Mrs H of St Albans, Hertfordshire, when she took photos of her daughter Caitlin with PC Plum and Miss Hooley from the hit TV series 'Balamory'.

Like all good photographers, Mrs H had downloaded the photos from her digital camera onto her home computer. However, the PC hard drive broke before she had printed copies. The PC could not be repaired so the images were lost. She tried going back to the camera's digital flashcard but could see nothing on it at all.
